Anatomy · three elements

Seen up close.

  1. DOME lit in a living room, warm light shining through the glass cloche
    01 · Glass

    Glass.

An existing glass dome — from serial production, not from our own atelier. We chose it for what it does: honour the light. The dome is to Dome what the canvas is to a painting.

  2. DOME taken apart: glass cloche, bulb, socket, gold-coloured ring and wooden base with textile cord
    02 · Douglas fir

    Douglas fir.

Solid European Douglas fir — a wood chosen for what it can do: strong, stable, and naturally durable without treatment. Milled in our atelier, then oiled. In evening light, the warm grain steps forward.

  3. DOME, switched off: the bulb in its E27 socket, visible through the clear glass
    03 · The light

    The light.

One E27 socket for an LED bulb of max. 40 W; warm white (2700 K) recommended. The bulb is not included. Built-in stepless dimmer. The glass gives the light its character.
