What's in the box?
One lamp — glass dome, Douglas-fir base, 3m textile cord with E27 socket, and a numbered certificate. Acid-free, packed in a double-walled box with moulded paper-pulp inserts. No plastic, no styrofoam.

Which bulb fits?
Standard E27 socket. Maximum 40W LED, warm white (2700–3000K) recommended for the right glow. The bulb is not included — yours to choose. Halogen or higher wattages are not allowed: the glass overheats.

How long does production take?
5 to 10 business days from confirmed payment. Made to order — there is no stock. The first pieces in an edition ship faster; later pieces can take longer due to batch planning at the atelier.

How is it shipped?
From Belgium via Bpost (BE), PostNL (NL/LU) or DHL (rest of EU). Tracked, insured, with a tracking link by email. Free shipping in the EU, except Germany. UK/CH/US/CA on request.

Which payment methods?
Bancontact, iDEAL (including 3 instalments via in3), Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard and Amex — via Mollie and Shopify Payments. We never see your full card details; payment runs directly through the secure checkout.

Is every lamp unique?
Each piece is hand-numbered in an edition of 60 per configuration. The glass dome comes from serial production, so it is consistent — the variation lives in the solid Douglas fir: grain and tone differ from piece to piece, oiled in our own atelier. No two lamps are identical, not because of the glass but because of the wood and the number you receive.

Can I return?
Yes. 30-day right of withdrawal from the day of delivery — voluntarily extended from the legal minimum of 14 days. Conditions: unused, in original packaging, with certificate. Return shipping is the buyer's cost. Full procedure in the return policy.

What if the lamp arrives damaged?
Not your problem. Take photos of the outer box (before opening) and of the damage. Email within 48 hours — we send a replacement immediately and arrange the return free of charge. No partial refunds, no damage-discounts.

What warranty?
2-year legal warranty against manufacturing defects in glass, wood, cord and socket, per art. 1649bis BW (Belgian Civil Code). Damage caused by misuse (drops, scratches, water, outdoor use) is excluded. Glass remains replaceable at cost (≈€85) for as long as the edition is in production.

Who makes the lamp?
UNICK Design, a studio in Ghent. The solid Douglas fir is milled and oiled in our own atelier and the lamp is assembled in Belgium; the glass dome comes from European serial production and the textile cord from a workshop in Brussels. No agent, no importer, no middleman. Every lamp ships with a numbered certificate.

How many pieces are made?
Three lamps × three woods × three cords = 27 variations. Each variation is its own edition of 60, hand-numbered 1 to 60 within that variation. Your number is on the certificate. Then the edition closes for good — no reprint, no reissue.

Can I reserve a specific number?
No, not in advance. Numbering follows the production order. One exception: with early orders we sometimes ask if you'd prefer one of the first 10. Email us if that matters to you.

What if the E27 socket is different in my country?
Standard E27 (European) is supplied. For markets with different standards (US, Japan) we can supply an adapted socket or adapter for a surcharge. Mention your country at order — we contact you before production.

Ordering outside the EU — customs and VAT?
For deliveries outside the EU (UK, CH, US, CA) the Belgian VAT (21%) is reviewed at shipping. Local import duties and VAT are the buyer's responsibility, collected by the courier at delivery. Approx: UK ~20%, US 0–8% depending on state.
